Can I reuse Loose Leaf Tea?

Loose Leaf Tea can be reused 2-3 times, just add another minute to steeping time to draw out the flavor

 

Can I heat my water in the microwave?

Heating  water in the microwave is not recommended, Why? Water heated in the microwave can result in the water being overheated above its normal boiling point. This can cause the water to explode when you add your loose leaf tea.

 

Does loose leaf tea expire?

No, they do not expire but if you leave your loose leaf tea unattended for more than 18 to 24 months it can lose its aroma and color overtime.

 

How long can I store loose leaf tea?

You can store your loose leaf tea up to 18 to 24 months. Please make sure to properly store your loose leaf tea. In order to have more shelf life of your loose leaf tea, and to keep flavor and potency, store in an airtight container. I recommend mason jars to store your loose leaf tea.

 

Does Taomi Tea N Treats have a return policy?

There are no returns but if you are unsatisfied with your order, I will exchange free of charge.

 

Can I put my loose leaf tea in the refrigerator?

No, do not store your loose leaf tea in the refrigerator or freezer, this will cause your tea to lose flavor, aroma and potency. Furthermore, if your tea is left in the refrigerator or freezer this will introduce moisture to the leaves, resulting in your tea leaves to age fast and keep in mind loose leaf tea left in the freezer or refrigerator can absorb odor.

 

Is loose leaf tea only for drinking?

You can enjoy a cup of loose leaf and also enjoy its other benefits. Depending on the herbal tea, you can use it for steaming, cooking and so much more.

 

How long should I steep green tea?

1-3 minutes, Green tea is more delicate so if you brew/steep your green tea for too long it can cause the flavor to be more potent.

 

How long can I keep the wet loose leaf tea that has already been used?

I recommend just 1 day

 

Does your Tea Contain nuts, soy or diary?

All tea blends do not contain nuts, soy, or diary. Although all tea blends do not contain nuts, soy, or diary, some tea leaves are produced on shared equipment that have been shared with tree nuts, soy, and diary products.

 

Are the Tea Leaves Inspected?
